Infrastructure Expansion and Operational Development Continue at Minerales San Hilario
Work across the Minerales San Hilario concession continues to advance as the project strengthens both operational efficiency and on-site infrastructure in preparation for increased production capacity.
One of the key operational improvements during this period has been the optimization of haul truck loading operations within the quarry. In parallel, additional passing and service roads are being constructed to improve traffic flow, reduce waiting times, and enhance overall safety and productivity across the mining area.
At the same time, works are nearing completion on the maintenance and repair zone located near the main processing complex. This dedicated area will provide improved conditions for servicing equipment, enabling faster response times and more efficient maintenance workflows, ultimately supporting higher equipment availability.
In parallel with operational upgrades, construction has begun on a new recreational sports area for employees, including a football field. This initiative is aimed at improving working conditions on site by providing structured leisure and physical activity opportunities for the workforce, contributing to overall well-being and team cohesion.
Meanwhile, commissioning activities are underway at the finishing module. Teams are currently conducting installation checks and start-up procedures to ensure all systems are operating in line with design parameters ahead of full operational integration.
These combined developments reflect Minerales San Hilario’s ongoing focus on balancing production growth with infrastructure improvement and workforce support. The project continues to evolve as a stable and expanding mining operation with long-term development potential.
